Faith Doney, LCSW, is our Eating Disorder and Trauma Specialist. Faith provides clinical leadership for Skyway’s Eating Disorder Services and the implementation of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), one of the trauma protocols offered to our clients as they journey through their trauma healing.
She conducts quarterly in-house CPT trainings and leads ongoing weekly consultations to support Skyway clinicians in both the effective treatment of eating disorders and the application of CPT. She plays a key role in advancing a trauma-informed approach by exploring the intersection of eating disorders and trauma, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care for clients across all levels of care.
Faith Doney brings extensive experience in treating complex trauma, eating disorders, and co-occurring conditions across PHP and IOP levels of care. She began her career as a Recovery Coach, offering direct emotional and behavioral support to clients in intensive treatment, while also working as a research assistant with University of Southern California’s (USC) Translational Research in Eating Disorders Laboratory.
She later earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, completing the Contextual Behavioral Practices Program of Study and receiving a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care.
Since joining Skyway, Faith has held several roles, beginning as a Primary Therapist before stepping into the Clinical Lead position within the Mood Anxiety and PTSD treatment track. She has supported the advancement of Skyway’s Eating Disorder Services, from when our doors opened until now where she is navigating clients’ treatment experiences within our integrated care model.
Faith hails from California, loves to travel, spend time with friends and expand her food palate through exploring local restaurants and cooking for her friends.
