Alexandra comes to Skyway Behavioral Health with almost 14 years’ experience in communications and almost 13 years’ in the healthcare and behavioral health industries.
Her life goal is to erase the stigma of mental illness and eating disorders, and to encourage others to re-think self care and the wellness of their future selves. She feels most at home alongside providers who hope to change the world, one patient at a time.
Most recently, Alexandra served as the Clinical Outreach Territory Manager with Discovery Behavioral Health. She supported her team of Outreach Representatives, offering strategy and coaching, while opening two brand new multi-service-line locations within the Midwest.
Previously, she worked as the Clinical Outreach Representative for Discovery Behavioral Health’s Illinois programs where she connected providers and their clients to local treatment offerings for eating disorders.
Alexandra brings with her a passion for guiding others to recovery, as well as, demonstrated skills in servant leadership, mentorship, training and crisis communications. She has served two terms on the board and is still an active member of the Heartland iaedp Chapter, where she contributes to the professional development and education of eating disorders specialists in the region.
Alexandra received her BS in Public Relations from Ball State University in 2009. She currently resides in Valparaiso, Ind. with her husband, Eric, their two kids, Olivia and Leo, and their hilarious English Bulldog, Capone.
In her free time, Alexandra loves to read, travel and make core memories with her family. She is thrilled to join the powerhouse team at Skyway, and cannot wait to help increase access to treatment and hope for anyone ready for recovery.
