Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Specialist
Ashley Phelps is Skyway’s Dialectical Behavior Therapy Specialist. She ensures the steady operation and implementation of DBT group therapies across all tracks. Ashley also works with individual clients in the complex trauma track. In addition to these duties, Ashley supervises clinicians and helps to increase adherence to DBT in the DBT group and individual therapies.
Ashley has extensive experience working at higher levels of care. Her previous roles included working as a behavior tech, group therapist, and head of a DBT department at a nationally known residential treatment center. She earned her bachelor’s in psychology from Purdue University and her master’s degree in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She believes that recovery is real and attainable for all clients. Ashley works diligently to provide clients with the framework needed for change and growth.
