Fran Dioso

As Skyway’s Utilization Review Manager, Fran works to help our clients receive insurance coverage for our services. She also provides training to therapists and clinicians in accurate note documentation. Fran holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Michigan State University. She also earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois-Chicago with a specialty in community health and urban development. Fran is passionate about making mental health affordable and accessible.

She previously functioned as a medical social worker at a community hospital in Humboldt Park where she provided resources on discharge planning, housing and mental health referrals. She also served as a medical case manager for one of the largest LGBTQ+ centers in Chicago. In that role, she worked with people living with HIV to ensure they had access to affordable medications and medical care.
