Gnathan Carpenter, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Gnathan is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the complex trauma track for the PHP program. His responsibilities include medication management, diagnosis of conditions, and treatment planning. Before coming to Skyway, Gnathan was a registered nurse at the Howard Brown Health Center in Chicago. He also worked as a project manager for a drop-in program for HIV+ and transgender women of color. He has extensive knowledge of program management, clinical research, and working in inpatient adult units.

Gnathan earned a BSN and an MSN from Rush University and the University of Saint Francis, respectively. He believes that all people are inherently worthy of a quality level of care. He strives to provide the highest level of compassion, empathy, and support for all clients.
