Dr. Rebecca Hansen serves as Skyway’s Clinical Manager for the eating disorders and complex trauma track. She is a clinical psychologist with nearly a decade of experience specializing in eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, and complex trauma in adult clients. Dr. Hansen is passionate about destigmatizing mental health and helping create access to behavioral health treatment. She approaches her clients with openness, vulnerability, and transparency.

Her values include social justice, empowerment, helping people believe they deserve to be seen and heard, and helping people to reach their fullest potential. These values are overarching in everything she does, whether working with clients or supervising clinicians. Dr. Hansen earned her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Ball State University. She completed her doctoral internship at the University of Missouri-Columbia and her postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University’s Counseling and Psychological Services. She has presented at national and international conferences and has published lauded academic papers, book chapters, and articles.
