Susan Anderson, MD

Dr. Susan Anderson serves as Skyway’s Medical Director. She is a member of the executive leadership team and supervises the psychiatric nurse practitioners, primary care, and nursing teams. She brings extensive clinical experience to the Skyway team, having served as the medical director of a psychiatry unit for 15 years. Dr. Anderson also established a private practice as a psychotherapist and psychopharmacologist.
Dr. Anderson completed her Doctor of Medicine as well as her psychiatry residency training at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is a Diplomate in Psychiatry and is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Anderson is currently a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Chicago. She is also working towards her Neuroscience Education Institute Master Psychopharmacology certification.
